Services: Website Design
THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES OF WEBSITES I DEVELOP:
Static Websites
A static website is basically what you call a "brochure" website that has limited functionality in terms of e-commerce and built-in marketing tools. Static websites are meant for small to medium businesses and usually only require minimal maintenance. I develop all of my static websites using Adobe Dreamweaver and the latest web standards, giving clients the ability to easily maintain their own we site using Dreamweaver's companion software called Adobe Contribute.
CMS Websites
What does CMS stand for you ask? CMS means "Content Management System". A CMS website is database driven and can contain e-commerce functionality and marketing tools such as e-newletters built into the web software. The beauty behind CMS websites is that they have what's called a "back-end" to the web software, which allows clients to maintain their website through their own web browser. These websites usually require more maintenance and are usually for medium to large size businesses.
Custom Programmed Websites
Custom programmed websites are database driven websites for medium to large businesses that require special functionality not found in static and off-the-shelf CMS web sites.
